They went out of there way to show the consequences it had on people in general, uh... in this movie? how? yeah, peter's teacher makes a comment about how his wife "pretended to blip out" but that's the only time they mention it other than the prologue, i think. i do think they kind of wrote themselves in a corner with the way they did the snap plot point. i know these are superhero movies but the idea that the global economy didn't completely collapse with half the population missing for five years is pretty unbelievable. they should have just stayed true to the original infinity gauntlet comic where half the population returns in a few days instead of five years. --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta ...
