Okay, I'm just going to say it - why in God's name do people want to own an animal which requires tedious amounts of training to yknow not maul small children and animals? I'm saying this not only for pit bulls but dogs in general.

Most people don't train their dogs past basic commands and "don't shit on the fucking carpet", the latter of which requires an astronomical amount of effort depending on the breed.

My family are pitbull lovers and we had pitbulls throughout the years, as well as many other dogs. We don't do any special training for them and they are all fine, they are basically like any other dog. One fought my little dog but my little dog was the instigator. Never once have they had issues with other people or dogs. They are pretty friendly. But my family is pretty friendly as well. It really just comes down to the owner. Pitbulls are technically more dangerous in that they do have a more damaging bite but that's it honestly. It's usually the little dogs that are vicious.
