A neglected Pit Bull is more dangerous than most dogs simply because of their jaw power.

That's why there is stigma. Of course a dog's aggression is based on it's life up present, but the problem is Pitbulls are hyper powerful dogs so an aggressive Pitbull is far more dangerous than an aggressive Golden Retriever---there is also the fact that naturally the breed tends to be more aggressive on average.

How many Golden Retrievers do you know that are dicks? I've seen labs abused and neglected that are still timid sweetys.

If we wanna rank animals based on bite strength, that is fine. That is a reasonable metric. I don't even have an issue with someone being afraid of pitbulls for this. A poorly trained pitbull, if it attacks, will cause far more damage than many other breeds. That is a correct assertion.

What is not is people saying Pitbulls have some natural inclination to attack. Pitbulls attract more asshole owners and scumbag "breeders".
