| MariaTaylor 01/19/21 3:57:09 PM #71: | yeah the gundam can and will take actual damage in battles. it's pretty interesting in that regard. also amuro thinks he is not a pilot but he's definitely a bit of a natural at it. I'd say he's one of the best pilots of all time in the UC. the mere fact that he was able to read the gundam instruction manual in like 5 minutes and then come out swinging after just a few battles speaks for itself, and he has plenty of impressive feats even early on. maybe I overrate him, someone more knowledgeable about the UC can feel free to correct me on that. but if you compare the limitations of the original gundam vs more advanced models later on, I think it says a lot. like the gap between the gundam and a zaku is a lot smaller, as you mentioned in a lot of other gundam series they are pretty much indestructible, but amuro was able to do a lot even with that gap. --- all the rest weren't so unfortunate https://imgur.com/yv2eC4n ...
