She's a weird ass person but the documentary was really slanted to make her look far worse than she actually was. It's been a while since I watched but I still remember finding out that the doc made it look like the tigers lived in tiny cages in her sanctuary but that was only a temporary habitat when they needed to be isolated for whatever reason IIRC.
