Persona 3 - Final boss tries so hard to seem "epic" or something and fails miserably. 13 forms, the first twelve of which are basically all deliberate jokes, then a final form with insane durability but mediocre offense meaning it doesn't even threaten you until it gets very low health and can potentially charm one of your characters into full healing it, making you waste all that time yet again. The whole thing is dedicated entirely to just boring you to death for as long as possible with nothing happening.

SMT: Strange Journey - The Neutral/Law final boss is pretty notorious for being able to just force an automatic game over on you with an always hitting instant death attack that your main character can survive once if you have the right accessory, but not twice. Main character death means you get a game over.

SMTIV: Apocalypse (not trying to go in on the SMT franchise or anything, they just apparently have a lot of examples) - Final dungeon is way too long for its own good, has very dull, droning music, and has a super bright shifting colour scheme that is painful to even look at for too long. Seriously, twenty minutes of running around this shit hole has almost always given me a headache. This visual design is bad in any circumstance, but especially on a handheld system where the screen itself will probably be moving slightly in your hands.

Fire Emblem 6 - Last two chapters are an endless corridor where you just walk through empty space and murder the same few enemies over and over again, followed by a giant empty room where you walk up and kill a boss that can't even counter attack at 2 range for some god forsaken reason.
