Its incredibly easy to make it so that you dont have to do large amounts of content ever again after a reset. Every item, song, and owl statue serves as a way to save time and skip large amounts of overworld questing and parts of dungeons. and sure a a bunch of masks are basically puzzle pieces that have one purpose but the fun is mainly in collecting them. Id rather have that than something like, say, Twilight Princess where almost all of the items in the game get heavily used it n whatever dungeon theyre from and then maybe once or twice ever again after you leave it. Those arent even fun to collect --- I pray god will curse the writer, as the writer has cursed the world with this beautiful, stupendous creation, terrible in its simplicity, irresistible in truth ...
