Topic	One of my old friends murdered his parents and shot himself last Friday.

Unfortunately I knew that due to Matts mental illness there was a very slim chance that he did do something fucked up (I assumed that if he did maybe he got into a fight with his dad and beat him up or something) but I never in my wildest dreams imagined this. I also knew that he might have done something pretty illegal that wasn't necessarily violent or something, and again I have been trying to turn a new leaf so I wouldn't have wanted to get involved in that either. (when me and Matt were teenagers we often engaged in dumbass teen hijinxs like stealing cars and going on car rides, burglarly, etc...) Not glorifying any of this as I regret it all very much so now, but you can't change the past and I was a young dumb addict that had yet to learn the value of a dollar and how the real world works in general. Thank you for responding to me maturely, I'm not trying to be a dick about it but that's exactly how I feel. I just feel like you should have listened to him more. I've done my share of things as well and I have friends calling me on midnight as well usually over stupid shit even though I'm married with kids I still try to help them as much as I can.
