it's an important issue because it shows how democracy can fail even after succeeding. It also shows where Aung San Suu Kyi went wrong in many ways. She failed to solidify her power after the previous (i mean, previous previous) elections by decentralising or at least, trying to reduce the authority of the military's chain of command.

Myanmar also serves as a perfect example of a military junta and a coup. A military in any country can pose immense danger to a civilian government if not properly controlled
