And you do this while simultaneously giving AOC as much leeway as possible in interpreting her statement.

The fact that people are thinking like this and don't realize it is astounding.

Owens made the statement that Cortez falsely accused Shapiro (and implied that she regularly makes false accusations of serious crimes by other men) by using the quoted words in her post literally. Cortez wrote two sentences clearly making the comparison to catcalling rather than claiming that he literally catcalled her. It's quite obvious Miss Owens seems to have an idea of the average IQ level of her followers if they couldn't get that. I'll give her that much credit at least.
