I wonder if that threat alone would have been sufficient for self defense had he not killed himself but it seems like he know he went momentarily insane and couldn't live with himself I think just the husband said it, but regardless, that excuse for a defense wouldn't have held up in court considering they weren't on his property, were on the street in front of it while he came back out with a gun to shoot them not just once, but twice. And after the first shooting they both fled, especially the husband. Not to mention the execution shots he did during the second time he came out. Absolutely indefensible in this instance. ...
