But, all he's saying is that the impeachment trial needs to be fair and Trump deserves due process. I don't think anyone disagreed with that. Oh, now I see where he's going with this. He argues Trump was entitled to all the due process of a full trial in the House. That's not how it works. Defendants are not entitled to defend themselves before a grand jury.
