I mean when its a weird disappearance or murder or something like that. I think the facts SHOULD be interesting enough by themselves. No? There is some level of theorizing and conspiracy that is exciting to hear, especially when its from professionals in the case who have seen everything over their careers, who know all the intimate details of the case. When they dont know wtf is going on then thats a juicy extra layer we can all get behind. but when Pepperoni_Pop_Socket_421 chimes in with his theories Im out. Devalues the whole thing. Theres a reason why random people arent allowed to step under the crime scene tape and start inspecting blood patterns and launching theories.
