Well, I mean, across all Presidential impeachments in American history, only 8 times has a Senator cast a guilty vote against a President of their own party. And all 8 were against Trump. (Romney last time, and the 7 today)

This was literally the most bipartisan guilty vote in history.

lmfao Pelosi just crashed the House impeachment managers press conference with almost literally, "I wasn't planning on being at this conference, but then I heard that fucking turtle open his mouth." (seriously, sans profanity, she basically opened with that.) Correctly called out the absolute cowardice, lies, and bullshit behind McConnell's hand-wringing about how "The House managers proved their case but we can't convict a former President, if only the trial had been during his term" with pointing out how they were ready to go and it was McConnell himself who kept the Senate from returning to session until the inauguration. She was just spitting fire at all the R senators who voted to acquit too, it was pretty great.
