Ideally, I'd be for them, but honestly I feel like if you gave senators like... 2 terms, a Senator in their second term has absolutely no built in impetus to act with any sense of honor or anything. At least in regards to an impeachment trial or whatever because what do they stand to lose? They've won their allotted terms, so why should they care if they blatantly and obviously give a giant middle finger to the country? I guess you could argue the opposite in the case of partisan politics, it can free them to do as they see fit in their second term and give a middle finger to the party.
