They would only be looking for hookups before they went back to whichever country they came from. A few I saw more than once if they were staying a while, but that wasn't often. Even with one offs it was still long enough for me to get a sense of the kind of people they were. Some were clearly no use. More than once I got compared "favourably" to other locals since I didn't act how they perceived us all to be (bad mannered, thuggish, only looking for money etc). I had my own issues with locals but those bad kinds were in the minority. You could say these visitors were ignorant since they didn't know much about us and were only here for fun. Others didn't have that excuse because they were expats living and working here. Also your grandfather is black? Are you white? It seems a lot of white Americans have black extract and don't know.
