See that's exactly it They want MCU Spider-Man to both be a street level hero and to fight world-shattering threats and it just doesnt work here So everyone is like 'you're just a kid' and then suddenly they go like 'hey can you beat up the avengers' or 'go fight a primordial elemental spirit for us haha' I think the idea is he himself sees himself as a kid as he doesnt have a lot of self-esteem/confidence like well, everyone at that age but in actuality he has a lot of strength and untapped power. --- I live on, THROUGH THIS SEASHELL!
