She didn't try to claim a "slippery slope", she just flat out asked "how is that different?"
And no, it really wasn't a slow process, nazi influence took a few years once they were in power.
Unless you mean the two millennia of anti-Semitism that set the groundwork for nazi Germany, in which case...yeah, it took many times the amount of years the U.S. has even existed as a country to happen.
And why is hating people w/ different political views a problem now, and not all the previous years the Republican platform boiled down to, "own da libs!"?

She didn't say it would come to that either, don't make up things just to be upset. Its literally "it started by us turning on each other for something stupid that separates us".
