I think its a gray area, if its a song you like and youre with people who know its not coming from a place of hate then I think its ok, but if you arent willing to sing it in front of your black friends then you should probably not do it at all imo I know there was a story a few years ago where a musician called a girl onto stage and she was singing along with him but she was white and she sang the N word when he did. The crowd went nuts and booed her and he stopped her and said she needed to use a different word when she was singing along. I think that was really awkward and unfair to her. If youre an artist and you put a word like that in your song then I think youve gotta know that all different types of people are probably gonna be singing your music. --- YOU control the numbers of leches. -Sal Vulcano ...
