Assholes demand loyalty for miles and miles, always widening gaps and saying it's tolerance that fails. Corrosive behavior from a show's host for decades, and now he's gone? Of course many would be happy. Imagine a violent storm tearing through riverbanks for many years, and suddenly things have every reason to calm for an extended period of time. Those who have lived on those banks, those who have tried to build and fix their means of getting across the river have every right to feel relieved. Rush was not a kind man, he never really sold himself as one, and yet his many so-called listeners say they are disgusted and confused by the catharsis from the people whose livelihood could have been far greater without the man. The damage has been done. The cause of it is now far less than it has been. May everyone hurt by the man, unable to see this day, now know peace. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
