They're not comparable to Trump's tweets or constant targeted harassment. Of course they were offensive. They were intended to offend and they did offend. Is it possible they weren't as bad as Trump? Sure, that could be possible, but he's not exactly someone who should be a standard. He did lose the election, after all.
