I had no idea Breath of the Wild was a Wii U release also.
I just started Link's Awakening tonight on Switch, i've been playing those Steamworld games like Heist and Quest, they are both pretty great indies. Also been off and on some odd RPG called Ni No Kuni, definitely didn't look like something I would ever play but it's been suggested many times and it was on sale. The RPG mechanics of that game are actually very solid, i'm trying to get over the Disney animation looking graphics, but it's solid and fun enough that I might stick with it.
I got like 30 hours into BotW and own it but I never finished it, I got a little flustered with a motion controlled shrine puzzle and after like 40 tries and beating it, I put the game down for a bit lol.
If you put 30 hours in then you got the gist lol, luckily there are only like 5 motion controlled shrines of 140
Ni no kuni I've heard good things about, it's on my list. I'll check out the indies if they're similar to LoZ
