As he, Penguin and the others were kneeling, Gareth and his men just walked about as if it was another casual day talking business as they were about to slaughter several people for meat. No final words, just dead. While horrific what happened in the church seemed somewhat justified. It was kill or be killed by these people.

The next 8 episodes will focus not only on Beth but Rick's internal struggle on whether he can trust the outside.
