Honestly I've never done a single deployment so far (posertown population = me). But the commands I have been stationed at still have serious issues with mental health and suicide attempts, and the rare suicide, because you wind up working really weird ass hours that screws with your ability to enjoy your time off and the people that tend to stay in and get promoted tend to be unrealistic idiots who don't have any idea of what's going on or how to treat people like people. So even stupid office jobs become really emotionally taxing.
