My husband is the one who did all the research on what I needed to do. He was constantly coaching me through it. We decided I would just fly down and find a job within 6 months (which is as long as Canadians can stay), which I did and got a work visa for. He was the one who got me a roundtrip plane ticket even though I was essentially not planning on returning lol. Coached me on what to say to boarder agents. I heard Amira bought her own one way ticket to Mexico and thats what got her caught. He sent me money to help with moving costs and bought a car for me when I got here. I stayed at my aunts for 6 months while he sold his house and wrapped things up in his city. Hed make a 3 hour drive each way to see me every weekend (I moved to SoCal and he was in Central Cal). He also filed all my green card paperwork when we got married. My dad has always liked my husband for all those things lol. So when I see Andrew just sitting like a lump in Mexico and making Amira do all the work, I get so mad. I get really mad at most of the Americans who have their foreign fiancs leaving everything behind and they dont help set them up at all.
