Almost all the heroes in the MCU have that everybody loves them despite them being insufferable people syndrome. As for competence, Tony Stark created the single most advanced power generator in a cave, with a box of scraps. Dr. Strange mastered magic in record time. Carols weakness is that shes just boring as fuck.
