At least in three western provinces, and almost entirely in a fourth, where there was only one case, mysteriously.

In practice, I'm pretty much 100% certain that there are flu cases bouncing around, they're just not being detected because nobody's going to the doctor when they've got flu symptoms to actually have it confirmed by a lab(plus anti-covid measures will reduce the severity of flu infections as well as the likelihood of catching it). As much as I have no difficulty believing that Covid precautions have been very effective at keeping influenza from spreading, I very much doubt actual eradication has been achieved.

That said, the Atlantic provinces are in the same boat. Pretty much no lab-confirmed flu cases this year, which is wild.
