Anyways, I'm not sure what point the author is trying to make. From the sound of it, it seems like he thinks people are childish for opposing censorship? I'm surprised that he talks about kids lashing out against political correctness in the '90s, yet makes it sound like it was supported by right-wingers back then. From what I remember, it was mainly lashing out against religious right-wingers who wanted to ban everything that was more fun than Jesus. I don't get what's childish about wanting to have the freedom to make your own decisions. If you don't like a certain piece of media, don't consume it, but also don't ban it either.
