In America almost everyone has a platform, even the fucking morons (conservatives, corporate liberals, etc.), and that results in a collective political indecisiveness that obstructs acton and is just as likely to undo progress as it is to implement it to begin with. That has less to do with everyone having a platform and more to do with our government being ratfucked to hell and back to the benefit of minority rule.
