The one thing that gets me with local is that people say its cheaper than chain pizza. Fuck no its not. I can get a 3 topping large pizza from a chain for $8. No way i can get that from a local place.

Argue the quality all you want (its subjective anyways) but chain pizzas are certainly less expensive.
You can't argue. Some places may charge 20 bucks or more for a cheese pizza and "insert topping name" pizza. If someone thinks I'm joking, I'm not. You're not getting value all the time from a local place, even if you like what they offer.

People need to understand that local eateries are not always good. If you're in places like New York, New Jersey, Chicago, places that are famous for pizza, I understand. But other places, I've heard a lot of negativity with local pizza joints.
