I probably choose job 1 because it sounds more stable. I assume benefits means they are looking for you to have a career.

If you feel confident that job 2 would lead to a better career, you may want to consider that, though.

I guess a lot depends on what you want for your career. Forget the other details for a minute... which type of work would you prefer to be involved in?

I've had both 20 and 40 minute commutes. The 40 minute commute just ended up being prone to multiple issues and was constantly 45-50+ minutes. At the same time, you can alleviate that by moving (depending on your situation ofc).
