Italian breakfast (prima colazione) consists of caff latte (hot milk with coffee) or coffee with bread or rolls with butter and jam. A cookie-like rusk hard bread, called fette biscottate, and cookies are commonly eaten. Children drink caff d'orzo, hot chocolate, plain milk, or hot milk with very little coffee.

That's what I imagined French breakfasts to consist of lol
