His piano inventions are a great entry point. Also the Brandenburg concertos. Take a deep dive into his organ works if you dare but its a labyrinth. I was force fed Bach as a kid. Im still convinced Handel is much better to the casual listener.

You know, I actually don't particularly mind Handel so much compared to most baroque composers, but I think partly it's because his music has elements of what would later become much more common in classical.

Bach, interestingly enough, seems much more in line with Beethoven and the romance era. Which is kind of weird to think about.

Now that I know more about Bach, it's kind of weird to hear how his music was far more influential on Beethoven's style than Mozart's was.
