| captpackrat 04/10/21 6:44:23 PM #23: | Jorge Luis Borges wrote an interesting short story called The Library of Babel, which is about a universe in the form of a vast library containing a nearly infinite number of books containing every possible combination of the characters of the alphabet, periods, commas, and spaces. Although the overwhelming majority of the books will be gibberish, the library will contain, somewhere, every book ever written or that ever could be written. Some of these books must contain predictions of the future, important secrets or the meaning of the universe, but there will also exist books that look legitimate but contain false or erroneous information, thus all the books are totally useless. --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ...
