It's almost like misinformation Mead is trolling about the fact guns are already HEAVILY regulated. It's sickening how he openly lies and pretends that these laws don't exist.

And because the alleged statistic comes from that guy, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that it probably includes something like military sales that renders it completely meaningless because that's the kind of shit he does.

Yes. Agreed. Red flag laws would be great. Anyone suffering a mental health crisis should have their weapons confiscated and only returned once they have sought and recieved adequate care. Family and friends and acquaintances should be allowed to report anonymously. A national hotline should be established and funded and advertised until everyone knows it as well as they know 911.

Only part of the overall solution but it's good you're on board with finding a solution.

I like the laws in theory, but just like civil forfeiture, the system seems prone to rampant abuse.
