I would 100% go for it. Like you I got sick of having to fix a lawnmower pretty much every spring. ((Side note: Just as I started typing this, I could hear my neighbor's mower start-up...and that is over the music in my room!)) ~I'll get back to that.
Anyway, I have a Greenworks, and can get you the model number. It's honestly a little beast. I have some gnarly areas and it does cut right through it. It has two battery slots, so there is plenty of run time. They also 'sense'..I guess you could say, the workload, and rev up or down accordingly. The start-up, straight up, no questions asked. Plus, you can dip into their other equipment, Their Chain Saw is ligit, the weedwhacker is great, and there is also an air compressor...all of which will come with a battery. So, if you get the full suite you will have as many batteries as you will ever need.
And yes they run quietly. I mow in the middle of the night mostly now. The mower is no loader they may two box fans. You can have an open conversation around one while it's running full steam.
I would 100% say go for it.
