Good judgement is being aware of your faculties, your tolerance, how much you've had to drink, how much time has passed since you've been drinking, etc. Not all judgement gets thrown out the window as soon as you've had your first sip of alcohol. I'm not defending drunk driving, it's a terrible thing. Alcohol also can affect people in different ways. If you think it's dangerous for you to be driving after having any alcohol, then by all means don't do it. If I spend three hours at a bar and have had two 6% beers spread out over that period of time, then I know I'm going to be just fine.
Bad judgment is thinking that all of this bullshit rationalizing makes someone any less of a brainless asshole for drinking and driving
