started up Violett: Remastered which is one of the point and clicks. liked what i played of it. kinda feels like alice in wonderland meets coraline. puzzles arent too hard but i still seem to overlook like the one thing i need to solve them :/ . unfortunately i wont be continuing as ive run into a bug that prevents from me progressing. ive tried a couple different things to get around it but nothing worked. i guess if someone could send me a save file past where i am it would work but that would require someone to have the game. oh well

fite game of the week is Blade Arcus from Shining: Battle Arena. my only experience with any shining force is that bread anime from a few years ago. luckily some of those characters were in this! anyway i knew p much nothing about this going in. not seen any tournaments, wasnt on the super best friends/woolie vs, and never saw anyone talk about it (except for the original ps3 release and that was because it didnt have any online at all). and that might be because the game itself is kinda nothing. very few modes, move list seems small, only has characters from 2 games when its a series crossover. also movement speed feels on the slow side and the throw character is kinda augh. it kinda feels like a low effort fad follower? i know nitro+ blasterz and dengeki whatever came out around the same time so maybe they were trying to copy those? iunno.
apparently theres an updated version thats japanese ps4 only that has more modes and characters from a 3rd game so maybe its a lot better

also decided to get into faerie solitaire remastered. currently getting the cards for the non remastered version so i havent started it yet. it looks like a good filler game for when im not feeling like doing anything else. probably wont type up many updates on it until im done. base version is just cards and done
