Also, I heard this is Souls like...do you lose anything when you die and are there checkpoint saves?I don't remember how long it took me, but I think it was probably in the 20-30 hour range to run through the campaign. And most of my hours after that were spent in Adventure mode, which takes a single area from the campaign and condenses it down to only a few dungeons. This is designed to be the mode where you search for encounters and items you did not get in the campaign. It has some similarities to Dark Souls, but punishment upon death is not one of them. You lose nothing when you die and checkpoints are placed very generously.
