I liked Ashley in the first game overall. Was nice to actually have a bit of a complex character in the squad. But damn did they drop the ball hard with her in the sequels. She's weirdly hostile in ME2 and there's barely any dialogue with her at all. Then she spends most of ME3 totally cold.
