I have no idea. That would have to be determined if the situation arose. I have a lot of CEs and classic CIBs. Ive never checked or estimated the value of my collection. Its about the principle more than the cost, although, I would have to be really shortchanged to seek legal counsel on the matter.

Years ago I went to the bank to get a vehicle loan for $15,000 CAD for a car. They wouldnt give it to me because the return on the car wasnt worth the loan by their books. I told them the car would go up in value. The same car is now worth $45,000 USD.

Companies would rather use some BS figures from a book than trust professional collectors for evaluating cost of an item. In some cases they would benefit from a default on a loan.
