I think diversity is great, but let's not act like Switzerland isn't one of the most peaceful and sane countries in the world that benefits from their homogeneity, other countries don't, however, like China or India or anywhere in the middle east

Hold up. Did you just use China and India as examples of other "homogeneous" countries? China has multiple ethnic groups. Like have you not heard of what's going on with the Uyghurs? The majority of China is Han, but there are multiple significant minority groups in China. They may all just look "Chinese" to an outsider, but saying it's a homogenous country is ignoring the diversity that's actually there. India is also not homogeneous. They have like over 20 official languages. Not to mention the Hindu caste system. You literally picked the two most populated countries on the planet. There are more Uyghurs in China than the entire population of Switzerland. Maybe ethnic homogeneity is not exactly what Switzerland is benefiting from. Probably worth noting that a quarter of their population are foreigners.

Edit: I didn't read the rest of the topic because that point was so dumb I had to immediately address it, but I should have known it was addressed already lol
