It's been a weird week.

We sat in a pub on sunday last week for 20 minutes, making brief, uninteresting conversation until I couldn't stand it anymore. "We've never been this starved for conversation". Shortly after, we broke up. It was very sad, but mutual, and cordial.

This week has progressed almost normal, and certainly less tense than the past few months have been. But definitely sad and surreal. It almost felt like things were back to normal except for jarring interruptions of "I emailed the landlord, they're sending over new lease documents" and "do you want the coffee grinder? It was a gift from kirsty."

Today is on me to pack up all my shit and get going, and I almost don't want to start. I know I have to but it feels so ultimately final.

Sorry for the blogfaqs. Today is rough. I would rather be doing anything else on this beautiful sunny day instead of putting the final nail in the coffin of the relationship that only half a year earlier I thought was "the one".
