I did when they had to remove the toilet to redo the flooring in my bathroom. It turned out that ages ago when the closet was converted to a bathroom in this 100 year old farmhouse that whoever installed the pipes just cut through a floor joist without properly reinforcing it, so the floor had to come out entirely to fix that, and to reposition the drain pipe because it was too close to the wall for a standard toilet.

I could have used one of my roommate's bathrooms, but I really hated the idea of inconveniencing them or potentially stinking up their bathroom.

On the plus side, I now have a really nice toilet that flushes so much better and quieter than the old one, and the new floor looks totally amazing and is solid as a rock now.
