Game wise this is so Shepard is never murdered during dialogue because he didn't pick the right options lol. But yeah if Ashley kills him it means you failed to convince Wrex. I'm not talking about Ashley. Ashley is just salivating at the chance to kill any alien so I get that. I'm talking about convincing Wrex.
