I think both types of runs have their own charm and I could understand people preferring it either way. Games with in-game time systems are really cool in that way when it comes to speed running. Another thing, I guess this applies to both types of runs, is that you don't have to bind yourself to the accepted speed run categories on the leaderboard either. Like in my case I'm not that serious and I'm not going to be breaking any records anyway. So it can be fun to set a different goal for yourself, how fast can I reach Farming 5, how fast can I make 20,000 gold. the marriage RTA category is fairly popular but everyone goes for specific candidates because those ones are the fastest -- but you can also just pick a non optimal candidate and try to figure out how fast you could marry that person instead. that's why I say I've only done one "serious" run, but I do like to play around with my own self defined concepts. anyway, yeah, I guess that's all I have to say about it. stardew valley is really cool. --- i want to see the stars with you https://i.ibb.co/Tcv7RFV/KotoneFR.jpg ...
