Topic	I thought COVID-19 was going to unify the country

It would be something so devastating that even corrupt politicians would perhaps think of the good of humanity rather than their own self interests. Covid was neither of those things. Statistically, Covid is a beefed up flu. It's not catastrophic enough to cut through the bs. You don't get a virus with a near 100% survival rate and expect it to unite the country.
