I think you can get it done as well, just need to practice some characters up and get lucky like I did with Luigi. I got a guy playing Ganondorf and then had to beat a decent Sephiroth. There are still some characters that I have issues with picking up at the drop of a hat. Bayo is one of my weaker ones because she is pretty unique.
