This has Hollywood level special effects. It's got mythical beings in it. It looks cooler. The show was bad, but Id take a hollywood adaptation of Iron Fist over this any day. As far as I know Shang doesnt really have powers, whereas Iron Fist can level rooms and shit with his glowy punch. Not to mention he literally has to fight a dragon to earn the fist. Theyre officially retconning the plot twist from Iron Man 3 (it was retconned a while ago, but theyre revisiting it). Blue_Popo posted... I feel like MCU has crossed those out of canon Not really. The Netflix shows referenced the movies but the movies have yet to counter anything from the shows and likely never will until we get a Disney+ or theatrical Daredevil, Luke Cage, or Punisher (which I predict would be the first Netflix heroes brought back). So for now theyre either still canon or never were, but we dont have a definitive answer. The best we have to go by is actors playing different roles in the movies vs the shows but honestly that doesnt mean much, considering theyve already done that a few times between just the movies alone. --- Slow and steady wins the race ...
