Topic	Here is a very TRICKY RIDDLE that is dividing the INTERNET!! Can you solve it??

Regardless, I was going to say that the first line could mean "I ATE four eggs," but that still gives me the answer 3 (with the provision that roosters do not, in fact, lay eggs). Of course, that last line could mean that my rooster got laid 5 times.
